How do you teach your children about money and teach them that it doesn't grow on trees? I want my children to learn the value of things and learn that we cannot buy everything but at the same time I don't want them to worry about money.
Zach was at a playdate the other day. I asked him if he had a good time when I picked him up. His response was that he had a good time because they have money. I think what he was saying was that the family had a bigger house than we do. What do you do with that?
I responded by saying that we too are very fortunate. There are a lot of people that don't have as much as we do. I would love to take him somewhere where the kids do not have anything so he begins to appreciate what we do have.
